Vellore is the District Headquarter. <br><br> <i class="fa fa-location-arrow"></i> The Institute has close access to the International Airport at Chennai in Tamil Nadu and Bangalore in Karnataka. <br><br><i class="fa fa-location-arrow"></i> The parade ground of the Central Prison, Vellore, which is about 2 minutes walk is also used as a helipad. In addition to this, Vellore can be reached via Chennai to Bangalore National Highway.<br><br><i class="fa fa-location-arrow"></i> Katpadi is on the broad gauge railway route between Chennai and Bangalore, at 130 kms from Chennai.
